Jason Hanash is the founding pastor of Discovery Church. He strongly believes that God’s mission for the local church is to be a lighthouse for the Good News and to help people discover their God-given destiny. His messages are relevant, practical and aimed for life-change. He has a passion for planting new churches and raising up leaders.
Discovery started with 3 people in a living room, and within 10 years grew to over 3000 people and 3 locations. Discovery Church was named one of the fastest-growing churches in America.
Discovery Church started with the dream of being a leadership factory that sends out people into the mission field and being a church planting church. Jason and his wife Veronica were born and raised in Bakersfield and have three children.
